Similar to new building construction, the teams within Planning and Capital Project Management and Manhattanville Development Group serve as the University’s primary stewards in managing a wide array of renovation and improvement projects for existing buildings. Just like new building construction, their responsibilities include budget oversight, schedule, design, construction and regulatory compliance while serving as the main point of contact for all involved parties.
Interior projects range in size and complexity, from large building renovations and precise laboratory requirements to midsize projects involving multiple construction trades and smaller projects that involve one or two trades (such as paint or carpet) and sometimes involve modifications to HVAC or another building system.
