Design and Construction Project Request Portal Updates Improve User Experience

It’s now easier to request capital projects at Columbia University thanks to updates to the University’s project request portal. 

Capital Project Management and Manhattanville Development Group restructured and enhanced the online interface after soliciting feedback from users to help make the process to submit capital project requests more user-friendly. The updates resulted in a streamlined project request form that benefited both users and project managers and gathered pertinent information to guide initial project feasibility assessments. 

In addition, Columbia’s Design and Construction website was updated with detailed steps on what users can expect throughout the request process and project lifecycle to better guide planning and scheduling.
