Pupin Hall - at more than 100 years old - was in need of significant infrastructure upgrades to support modern-day demands. The multi-year infrastructure upgrades included new vertical risers (mechanical and electrical) and an upgraded life safety (fire sprinkler protection and fire alarm) system. The project increased the building's electrical and mechanical infrastructure capacity to support future modernized floor-by-floor renovations throughout Pupin.
The upgrades were completed in 2017.
