First Major Restoration of Plaza Since the Campus’s Original Construction
Columbia University’s first all-electric residence hall at 611 W. 112th Street was awarded LEED® Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), marking the University’s first residence hall to receive LEED recognition.

The Wallach Hall lounge has been transformed to a state-of-the-art e-gaming room for undergraduate students.
From 2017 to 2019, the chapel underwent a historic restoration, including a complete replacement of the terra cotta roof, repair and cleaning of the interior Guastavino tiles at the dome and main altar, and more.
